Line Cook

The Line Cook position is an essential part of delivering the food quality and consistency our guests expect. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and executing menu items accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety.

Line Cooks work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure each dish is properly prepared and delivered in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen, and committed to supporting the entire team.

Above all, Line Cooks must take pride in their craft and be committed to consistently delivering an exceptional product to every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.

  • Maintain proper portioning, seasoning, cooking temperatures, and plate presentation.

  • Set up and maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked workstation throughout each shift.

  • Complete assigned prep work and ensure necessary ingredients and supplies are available for service.

  • Communicate effectively with fellow Line Cooks, Chefs, Managers, and the service team.

  • Execute orders accurately and efficiently during high-volume service periods.

  • Properly receive, label, date, rotate, store, and handle food products.

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, allergen, and workplace safety procedures.

  • Minimize food waste and properly manage product throughout each shift.

  • Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities.

  • Assist other stations and team members as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

  • Complete required menu, station, food safety, and operational training.

Schedule & Locations

Line Cook positions are available across Taxman Hospitality Group concepts and locations. Positions may be part-time or full-time, with hours varying based on location and business needs. Line Cooks should have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Scheduling and weekly hours will vary by concept, season, and business volume.
